‘Vibrations of Dust’ - CP Project Space, New York, USA (2022)

The experience of living in a damaged world requires us to examine how humans, nonhumans, and environments relate to and affect each other. Focusing on overlooked matters and unheard sounds, 'Vibrations of Dust' invites us to expand our perception beyond the human scale of space and time and reconsiders the correlation between human life and histories of the planet.

Kees van Leeuwen's documents about changing seasons around nuclear bunkers, provide an altered spatial experience and reveal human disturbances of landscapes. Together, the artists reflect upon cycles of life and decay and inquire into the symbiotic relationship between humans and the Earth.
