‘Ceremony for space'

In all cultures exists a feeling of space. This concrete object is a universal shape which can be used anywhere to experience space. Putting the object on different levels intensifies the object.

The sand comes from several Japanese beaches, and the flowing of the sand creates different shapes inside and outside the concrete object.

In 2021 ‘Ceremony for space was exhibited at the exhibition 'Art Seeds Hirado 2021' in Hirado, Japan. Displayed at the Kanuntei teahouse of the Matsūra Historical Museum.
